Gardening Request This guy is a total joke and if you can avoid him at all costs then do. He turned up gave me a quote and for that particular job I thought it came in too high so I decided not to use certain materials which were bumping up the cost. I then call him back to re-do the quote based on the cheaper materials to be used and he gave me a good quote which I was happy to proceed with. He called me the morning I was to get the materials for the job to give me the breakdown of the materials that were needed, which I had to get a friend to accompany me to the builders yard as I don't drive. We did this all at short notice with a view that he was supposed to come the next day to complete the works. Both of us took time out of our working day to go and get the required materials (3 hours) only then for the next morning for him to not turn up. No phone call nothing. When I am then calling him to find out where he is, he of course is not answering the phone either. I bought all the materials based on him to do the work. Every persons work is different for someone else now to come, the materials will change. All that time and effort wasted for nothing. This guy is a joke as he called me and gave me a list of things to buy the morning I was out getting the material, I then even spoke to him again that same afternoon telling him that we had now got the material. He even offered to help to collect the material should I not have had anyone to help me to do so. But then on the morning in question NO SHOW!!!

John and his team were passionate about doing the job properly and I'm very pleased with the end result - our new bespoke fence and cedar wood trellis look really good!

John was the first to view and quote for the new fence and his was the lowest price. His work was very good and completed on time. I thoroughly recommend him.

He was one of three to quote for a new fence after the old one blew down in the storm. His was the most reasonable and his work was excellent. However only time will tell on its endurance.

We didn't get the garden we wanted. Had to change plan last minute due to him not checking properly with his sources (he said he can provide 5m width artificial garden grass but in the end he couldn't). He bought extra expensive materials and we had to argue with him to try to keep it. He didn't keep his words, saying he will come to fix some issue with the garden but did not show up, did not update, no call or text, nothing. Very expensive overall and the whole process was very stressful for us. Will not recommend.
